Bringing people and finance together.Let's see.
How do people and finances come together?Or why are industrial spies no longer in vogue?
I really like this question because it's something I've been able to think very carefully about.
For me, this is a journey from the past to the future.
Let's think back to the 1960s and 1970s, when there were hundreds of companies, but there was something that distinguished them greatly from one another.
That it was simply a product,a company with a team, whether it be engineers or salespeople, etc.,who were developing something unique.
The other companies did not have it, so they did not have that capability.whereas today's companies, copy anything that comes out on the market in three weeks.
And that's where industrial espionage came in.There were people, and it's crazy to think about it, but there were people who worked in large multinational companies who did not actually work for those multinational companies but rather worked for their competitors, passing on confidential information.
Not at the financial level, not at the strategic level, but at the product level.
It was truly exceptional at the time and very risky.
The thing is, society has evolved a lot.and the economy too.
We have moved on from industrial espionage, which was necessary in the 1960s and 1970s.in order to have that holy grail, which was the most exclusive product, etc.
Obviously, when we talk about espionage, we also talk about counterespionage and we talk about secrecy and super-opaque companies where only two or three people had that information, and from there we moved on decades later, to a point where you no longer focus on the product.
You focus on technology.Because whoever has the technology is the one who will win.
And this is where we've seen the evolution, from the 1990s to the 2000s and 2020s.
Well, we've seen it in many companies. For example, talk about mobiles, like the one with the best technology,at one point, was the one that attracted the most attention and we have been able to see the evolution, how brands have changed over time in the way in which technology dominated and soon that technology became accessible to others and how through that technology companies could evolve, evolve, evolve.
If there were markets where they were much more advanced than other markets in the 1960s and 1970s it was because there were local companies that dominated that product or service, but they didn't have the ability to go to other countries.
So what was happening was that there were countries where they were growing much faster than others because they had industrial knowledge that the others did not have.
In the 1990s and onwards, with the arrival of that technology and the arrival of the Internet, etc., everything opened up.
Accessible technology for everyone,in which we have to bring about added value.
Well, that's where the human factor comes in, and that's the future.
Because what will make the difference from now on is the people who make up a team.
It's no longer about artificial intelligence.Everyone will use artificial intelligence in business.
The point is if people know how to use this technology, this product, to its full potential.
To do that,People have to give their best.Companies that have the ability to create such work environments where people can give their best and they will be the ones who will be able to lead your entire business much further.
