Stay true to yourself.
Reap and sow, let's see.Is adapting while remaining true to oneself the key to professional development?
That's perfect, after the previous question.Yes, adaptability has definitely been one of the skills that I realized I have with time being of the essence.
I don't know if it's the same for all companies, I can't say for sure.
It certainly was where I was.Because there have been many changes.
And so the fact that I had been accustomed as a child to having to adapt was what has allowed me to adapt, setting aside who they are or what their principles and values are, which are also inherent in the legal field because in the end you have to be very firm on certain issues such as integrity, ethics, etc.
However, adaptability is rarely discussed as a value these days.
Instead, we live in a very changing world.I have never experienced a professional year the same as the one before it and so knowing how to adapt is essential.
With positivity. And this is a quality that is difficult to build and difficult to develop correctly and to which little time is actually devoted within a company.
And I had the opportunity to verify this in my life before,in which there have been many mergers and acquisitions, and various companies have been acquired.
And so bring together people from different backgrounds or people who perhaps in the past were competitors creates situations that are difficult to manage and they can only be managed well if people show a desire and interest in wanting to adapt to the new culture, the new code of communication,to new contexts.
And it's not easy because many times people say, "I did things in the same way for years," or "I come from a background where I didn't have a positive attitude about what they are asking me to do now, what I have in front of me." So it's not easy.
There, you really need to help people and avoid creating and internal conflict and therefore a contradiction against themselves, but rather allow them to see that change and adaptability are part of a natural evolution, whilere remaining true to oneself and one's principles and values.
The context may change, so when the context changes, there are things that we need to look at from a different perspective, quite simply, while remaining true to ourselves.
